Gordon Jago

 




















 

Gordon Jago MBE, (born October 22, 1932 in London, England), is a former soccer coach for the United States national soccer team in 1969 and has coached English clubs Millwall and the Queens Park Rangers (from 1970-1975). In 2006 he was awarded the MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to international youth football.

In his short stint as head coach of the National team, Jago had a record of 0-2. Jago has also coached NASL teams, the Baltimore Bays and the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He has coached two stints with the Dallas Sidekicks retiring from coaching in 1997. He became President of the World Indoor Soccer League from 1998 until the merger with the MISL for the 2002 season.
